Wash. Gov. Inks $9B Tax Package For Boeing

Law360, New York (November 12, 2013, 5:27 PM EST) -- Washington Gov. Jay Inslee on Monday signed off on aerospace-related tax breaks worth $8.7 billion aimed at enticing Boeing Co. into building its 777X commercial jetliner, as well as the plane's carbon fiber wings, in-state. 

The legislation extends and expands until 2040 an array of aerospace industry tax incentives first enacted a decade ago. The package includes a reduction in the state's business and occupation tax, sales tax exemptions on computers used for airplane development and design, and other miscellaneous tax credits for aerospace businesses....
