Northrop Grumman Wins $178M Joint STARS Contract

Law360, New York (November 12, 2013, 7:14 PM EST) -- The U.S. Air Force has awarded Northrop Grumman Corp. a $178 million contract to continue support for its E-8C surveillance aircraft, also known as Joint STARS, the defense contractor announced Thursday.

Its contract to maintain the Joint STARS, which stands for Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System, is a continuation of its Total System Support Reliability contract first awarded in 2000, the company said in a statement.
