GAO Boots Challenge To $56M Army Contract Award

Law360, New York (November 12, 2013, 8:02 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office on Tuesday denied a bid protest by CACI Technologies Inc., supporting the Army's decision to disqualify the contractor's $56 million proposal for management support work as “unacceptable” based on incomplete information in part of the proposal.

CACI was one of four contractors competing for a task order under the Army's multiple-award Strategic Services Sourcing contract, which the Army had used to procure engineering, technical, logistical and business support work in service of the Army Contracting Command in Aberdeen, Md.
