Rep. Frelinghuysen Named Defense Appropriations Chair

Law360, New York (November 13, 2013, 3:02 PM EST) -- U.S. Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen, R-N.J., has taken up the leadership of the House Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, after a Wednesday reshuffling of committee leadership caused by the death of long-serving Chairman Bill Young, R-Fla., and the retirement of another senior Republican.

House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers, R-Ky., announced the changes Wednesday. Frelinghuysen will take over the subcommittee, vacating his previous position as head of the Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development.
