2 Philly Construction Cos. Cited In Fatal Building Collapse

Law360, New York (November 14, 2013, 2:52 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited two Philadelphia construction companies for safety violations following a fatal June building collapse and proposed nearly $400,000 in penalties, the agency said Thursday.

The agency cited Griffin Campbell, which does business as Campbell Construction, and Sean Benschop, which does business as S&R Contracting, for safety violations that occurred as the companies worked on the demolition of a four-story building in Center City Philadelphia that collapsed on June 5, killing six people and injuring 14....
