NY City Council OKs Post-Sandy Building Codes

Law360, New York (November 15, 2013, 6:03 PM EST) -- The New York City Council on Thursday approved new building rules meant to better prepare the city's buildings for another storm like Superstorm Sandy, including requirements to remove barriers to and add hookups for generators and supply drinking water in the event of power loss.
