Google, KKR Invest $80M In 106-MW In Solar Projects

Law360, New York (November 15, 2013, 12:48 PM EST) -- Google Inc. is partnering with KKR & Co. to invest $80 million in six solar facilities with a combined 106 megawatts across California and Arizona, the companies said Thursday.

The deal is similar to a Google-KKR co-investment in four Californian solar plants in 2011, down to using the same developer, Recurrent Energy. The companies will pay for the projects with equity and debt financing.
