N.J. Senate Approves Family Leave Benefits Bill

Law360 (March 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Legislation to extend disability benefits to workers taking care of sick family members or newborn children was passed by New Jersey's Senate on Monday.

The state bill, which would also provide benefits to workers caring for newly adopted children, was passed by the Senate in a 22-16 vote. It now heads to the Assembly Appropriations Committee for consideration.
