Ex-Naval Contractor Ordered To Pay $18M In Bribery Case

Law360, New York (November 21, 2013, 12:22 PM EST) -- A Rhode Island federal judge on Wednesday found the senior vice president of defunct engineering and technology services company Advanced Solutions for Tomorrow Inc. jointly and severally liable for $18 million in restitution to the U.S. Navy for his participation in a 15-year, $10 million kickback and bribery scheme.

Chief Judge Mary M. Lisi of the District of Rhode Island found Patrick Barry Nagle jointly liable with four co-conspirators for a $17,957,000 restitution payment, ordering him also to pay a fine of $25,000 and sentencing him...
