NYC Board OKs Full-Block Medical Center Development

Law360, New York (November 22, 2013, 1:06 PM EST) -- A New York City panel of city council members and local community board chairs approved Hunter College and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center's proposal for a 1.15-million-square-foot complex on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, Hunter College announced Friday.

The approval came at a Thursday meeting of the Manhattan Borough Board, after the college and medical center successfully competed the Uniform Land Use Review Procedure last month.
