Credit Suisse Settles For $3.4M With WG Trading Receiver

Law360, New York (November 25, 2013, 1:40 PM EST) -- The receiver for WG Trading Co. on Friday urged a New York federal judge to approve a $3.4M settlement with Credit Suisse International and its subsidiary Zephyros Ltd. in a clawback suit over an alleged Ponzi scheme orchestrated by WG executives.

The settlement would resolve all claims brought by receiver Robb Evans & Associates LLC against Credit Suisse and Zephyros over their investment winnings from WG, a fraudulent commodities trading and investment advisory business operated by Paul Greenwood and Stephen Walsh.
