Cintas Steps Up Court Battle With Unions

Law360 (March 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The feud between uniform supplier Cintas and three labor unions intent on organizing the company's legion of workers continues to rage in the courts, with the company filing a suit this week accusing the unions of extortion.

Cintas, which bills itself as the largest uniform supplier in the U.S. and employs more than 34,000 people, alleges that Unite Here, International Brotherhood of Teamsters and Change to Win have resorted to threatening the company with economic ruin in a failed attempt to unionize its workers.
