Hartman Simons Can Keep Coverage Of $10M Malpractice Deal

Law360, Los Angeles (November 26, 2013, 4:20 PM EST) -- A Georgia federal judge on Monday tossed an insurance company’s claims against law firm Hartman Simons & Wood LLP seeking to recoup costs from a $10 million malpractice settlement, ruling the insurer had waived its rights by paying the settlement before filing the suit.
