9th Circ. Upholds Nevada Power's Coal Waste Disposal Plan

Law360, New York (November 27, 2013, 4:13 PM EST) -- The Ninth Circuit on Monday shot down the Moapa Band of Paiutes and Sierra Club’s bid to sink Nevada Power Co.’s plan to expand its coal combustion waste disposal capabilities, finding the U.S. Bureau of Land Management’s environmental analysis adequate.
