Microsoft To Shield Consumer Data Amid Gov't Spying Leaks

Law360, New York (December 5, 2013, 6:00 PM EST) -- Microsoft Corp. is planning to bolster its encryption of customer data amid increasing reports of government spying by the National Security Agency, even though the software giant has no “direct evidence” of such a data breach through unapproved access by the government, its general counsel said Thursday.
