Federal Cybersecurity Spending To Hit $11B By 2018: Report

Law360, New York (December 6, 2013, 2:17 PM EST) -- Federal contracted spending on cybersecurity is expected to rise to more than $11 billion by 2018, up from the $9 billion spent this year, according to a report released Wednesday by information solutions firm Deltek.

The "Federal Information Security Market, FY 2013-2018," report said that due to continued advances in modern technology, the importance of improving cybersecurity for federal agencies will continue to increase.
