$1.4B Carnival Suits Belong In US, Fla. Appeals Court Hears

Law360, Miami (January 15, 2014, 5:05 PM EST) -- Plaintiffs in two class actions seeking a combined $1.4 billion against Carnival Corp. over the sinking of the Costa Concordia asked a Florida appeals court on Wednesday to keep their suits in the state rather than move it to Italian courts.
