Northwest Wins Injunction Against Senior Pilots

Law360, New York (March 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A bankruptcy judge agreed to enjoin a group of pilots for Northwest Airlines Inc. from suing Northwest and the pilots union in Michigan, saying that the lawsuit could interfere with the implementation of Northwest's Chapter 11 plan.

The dispute hinges on a suit filed against Northwest by a group of Michigan pilots alleging that the company, conspiring with the Air Line Pilots Association International, discriminated against some older pilots when it adopted a modified pension plan in the wake of its bankruptcy.
