Lockheed's $73M Counterclaims Struck From Fighter Jet Row

Law360, New York (December 13, 2013, 8:00 PM EST) -- An Arizona federal judge Wednesday refused to grant a quick win to a subcontractor alleging Lockheed Martin Corp. breached a contract in the construction of an imaging system for the F-15 fighter jet, but dismissed $73 million in counterclaims made by Lockheed over "speculative" damages caused by the subcontractor.

U.S. District Judge David G. Campbell declined to grant summary judgment in favor of Israeli company SGD Engineering Ltd., finding that a jury could see Lockheed's refusal to pay SGD as a valid exercise of its contractual rights...
