MetLife, Norges Bank Ink CRE JV, Acquire Boston Tower

Law360, New York (December 13, 2013, 2:09 PM EST) -- MetLife Inc. and Norges Bank Investment Management have created a commercial real estate joint venture to invest in Class A office properties in the U.S., making their initial investment at One Financial Center in Boston, the parties announced Friday.

MetLife and NBIM — manager of the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global — teamed up in an effort to expand their office portfolio presence in key U.S. markets over an extended period of time.
