CBS Accuses Atty Of Misconduct In Asbestos Coverage Fight

Law360, Philadelphia (December 16, 2013, 5:13 PM EST) -- CBS Corp. threatened Friday that it would seek to disqualify an opposing attorney in a Pennsylvania federal lawsuit over workers' compensation liabilities stemming from asbestos exposure, arguing that the attorney was improperly trying to serve as a witness as well as counsel.

CBS said that if the court did not strike a declaration made by Roy Cohen of Porzio Bromberg & Newman PC, who represents defendant Schindler Elevator Corp., it would aim to have him and his firm booted from the case.
