Film Co. Looks To Slay Hasbro's Dungeons & Dragons IP Suit

Law360, New York (December 16, 2013, 3:11 PM EST) -- Film production company Sweetpea Entertainment Inc. on Friday again asked a California federal judge to ditch a Hasbro Inc. copyright infringement lawsuit stemming from Sweetpea's proposed Dungeons & Dragons movie, arguing that it neither wrote the script that prompted the litigation nor made a film based on it.
