4th Circ. Denies Royalties For Ravens' 'Flying B' Logo

Law360, Los Angeles (December 17, 2013, 7:07 PM EST) -- The Fourth Circuit on Tuesday freed NFL Enterprises LLC and the Baltimore Ravens football team from paying a logo designer at least $700 for alleged infringement of his design, finding that their use of it in historical footage fit within the fair use doctrine of the Copyright Act.
