Take-Two Sued Over Rejected EA Buyout Bids

Law360, New York (March 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Less than a month after video game company Electronic Arts Inc. made public its $2 billion offer for competitor Take-Two Interactive Software Inc., a Take-Two shareholder has reportedly filed a proposed class action accusing company executives of trying to stifle an earlier EA bid.

Patrick Solomon filed his action Friday in Delaware state court against the company, which makes the popular “Grand Theft Auto” game series, as well as Executive Chairman Strauss Zelnick and CEO Benjamin Feder, the Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday.
