BAE Systems Nabs $171M Support Contract For Navy Missiles

Law360, New York (December 19, 2013, 2:43 PM EST) -- BAE Systems PLC has scored a three-year, $171 million contract to provide engineering and integration support to the U.S. Navy’s submarine-launched Fleet Ballistic Missile Program, the defense contractor said Thursday.

The renewed deal for work on the Navy’s Trident II D-5 ballistic missiles is the latest in a long contractual relationship between London-based BAE and the Navy's nuclear program, which has covered the progression of the Trident D-5 from its earlier Polaris and Poseidon stages as well.
