Verizon To Disclose Law Enforcement Data Requests

Law360, Washington (December 19, 2013, 6:51 PM EST) -- Verizon Communications Inc. said Thursday that it will publish an online report providing data on law enforcement requests for customer information that the company received in 2013, weeks after rejecting shareholder demands for more transparency about its cooperation with the U.S. government in national security investigations. 

The company said in a news release Thursday that the report will include requests the company receives from government entities in the U.S. and elsewhere, including those tied to national security.
