Bose Sues Over Infringement Of SoundDock

Law360, New York (March 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bose Corp. has filed a lawsuit against Eforcity Corp., alleging that Eforcity infringed the patent and trade dress for Bose's SoundDock digital music system.

The suit, which was filed Feb. 29 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, alleges that Eforcity is infringing on U.S. Patent Number 7,277,765, issued in October 2007.

It also said that Eforcity is manufacturing, copying, marketing, distributing and selling inferior quality products imitating and misappropriating the protected trade dress of Bose's SoundDock system.
