A Trap For The Unwary Subcontractor

Law360, New York (December 20, 2013, 12:33 PM EST) -- Subcontractors and suppliers take careful note. This month, the Minnesota Supreme Court issued a ruling in which it admitted that a statute created "a trap for the unwary" subcontractor or supplier that files a claim under the contractor's payment bond on a public project.
