Fidelity Gets BB&T's Suit Over $19M Hotel Loan Trimmed

Law360, New York (January 2, 2014, 2:29 PM EST) -- A Tennessee federal judge ruled Monday that Fidelity National Title Insurance Co. cannot be held liable for a third-party agent's actions tied to an allegedly fraudulent $18.7 million hotel loan, but must continue to face Branch Banking & Trust Co.'s claims of fraud and negligent misrepresentation.
