Lockheed Lands $263.4M Kuwait Missile Contract

Law360, Washington (January 2, 2014, 2:53 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Defense on Tuesday awarded Lockheed Martin Corp. a $263.4 million contract to deliver 14 Patriot missiles and seven launcher modification kits to Kuwait.

The DOD announced the contract in a statement on Tuesday. The firm-fixed-price contract will be completed on June 30, 2016. One bid was solicited and received for the contract, the DOD said.

Manufacturing related to the contract will take place in Texas, Arkansas, Massachusetts, Florida and Alabama, according to the DOD.
