Judge Recommends Trimming Claim In EEOC Sex Bias Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (January 2, 2014, 9:12 PM EST) -- A New York federal judge on Thursday recommended the dismissal of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s claim of a nationwide pattern or practice of employment discrimination by Sterling Jewelers Inc., saying the EEOC’s pre-suit investigation didn’t reveal adequate evidence against the Kay Jewelers parent.
