Magnetar Case Puts New Spin On SEC Revolving Door

Law360, New York (January 8, 2014, 7:54 PM EST) -- Facing a potentially damaging U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission investigation into its securities dealings before the 2008 financial crisis, hedge fund Magnetar Capital LLC turned to a defense attorney with an ideal resume: He had previously served as the agency’s top lawyer.
