La. Asks 5th Circ. For New Judge In Deepwater MDL

Law360, New York (January 6, 2014, 7:20 PM EST) -- Louisiana's top attorney is urging the Fifth Circuit to pull the federal judge overseeing the BP PLC Deepwater Horizon multidistrict litigation off the state's oil spill damages appeal, arguing the judge is violating due process and state sovereignty by holding up the case.
