Millennium Labs Says VeriMed Stole Drug Report Name

Law360, New York (January 6, 2014, 7:34 PM EST) -- Drug-testing company Millennium Laboratories Inc. filed a lawsuit Friday in California federal court accusing VeriMed LLC of infringing Millennium's trademarked “RADAR” name for its signature drug-testing results reports.

Millennium’s lawsuit accuses VeriMed of trademark infringement and unfair competition under both federal and California law, claiming the company started using the acronym RADAR to describe similar reports. The company is seeking damages and a court order to permanently stop VeriMed from using the name.
