Brooklyn Volume, Prices Skyrocketed In Last Decade: Report

Law360, New York (January 6, 2014, 5:50 PM EST) -- The volume of sales and average prices paid for residential property in Brooklyn have experienced a meteoric rise over the last decade, with numbers doubling in most neighborhoods and nearly quadrupling in others, according to a report released Monday by Aptsandlofts.com.

The brokerage conducted a survey of the activity it has seen in eight Brooklyn neighborhoods since 2003, including Brooklyn Heights, Williamsburg, Park Slope, the combined neighborhood of Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill and Carroll Gardens, and DUMBO and Bedford-Stuyvesant.
