Huntington Ingalls Nails $135M Navy Support Contract

Law360, New York (January 9, 2014, 7:10 PM EST) -- A unit of Mississippi-based Huntington Ingalls Industries Inc. won a contract for up to $135 million to provide maintenance and training support for U.S. Navy aircraft carriers, the defense contractor said Thursday. 

The contract, awarded to Huntington subsidiary AMSEC LLC, a Navy and marine engineering supplier, includes a one-year base period with four one-year option periods, which could add up to a total contract value of roughly $135 million, according to a statement Thursday by the firm.
