Fla. Supreme Court Disbars 'Foreclosure King'
In a short docket order, the state's high court adopted the recommendation of a court-appointed referee who said Stern should be disbarred for taking on a huge caseload and failing to properly supervise staffers who allegedly mishandled or filed fraudulent court documents.
The court also assessed $49,125 in costs. The disbarment is effective Feb. 6.
