Samsung Urges Court To Reject Apple's Injunction Bid

Law360, Los Angeles (January 10, 2014, 4:25 PM EST) -- Samsung Electronics Co. on Thursday urged a California federal judge to deny Apple Inc.'s renewed bid to block Samsung from selling in the U.S. certain smartphones found to infringe iPhone and iPad patents, saying Apple has failed to show the patented features drive demand for the infringing devices. 

In an opposition brief, Samsung blasted Apple's motion, claiming its rival merely recycled evidence that was previously rejected by the court and hasn't shown it would obtain any real benefit from an injunction.
