Shorenstein Pays Blackstone $307M For Boston Plaza

Law360, New York (January 10, 2014, 4:00 PM EST) -- Shorenstein Properties LLC said Friday it has acquired Boston's 717,128-square-foot Center Plaza, snagging the private real estate firm three properties in the heart of Boston, with media reports pegging The Blackstone Group LP netting $307 million in the sale.

The Boston Herald has reported that The Blackstone Group sold the Center Plaza, which sits at the entrance to the city's Beacon Hill neighborhood and across Cambridge Street from Boston's City Hall, for $307 million. The three properties have a combined value of more than $186 million,...
