Charter Pegs Time Warner At $61B In Major Merger Bid

Law360, New York (January 13, 2014, 5:51 PM EST) -- Charter Communications Inc. on Monday lobbed a mammoth merger proposal at outsize rival Time Warner Cable Inc. that values the company at more than $61 billion including debt, setting the stage for a wholesale shakeup of the U.S. cable industry.
