NYT Reporter Takes Source-Shielding Case To High Court

Law360, Washington (January 14, 2014, 4:07 PM EST) -- A reporter for The New York Times asked the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday to clarify whether reporters could protect the identity of their confidential sources, claiming the Fourth Circuit shouldn't allow the federal government to pursue his testimony and ferret out his source for information on CIA operations.
