Advance Realty Co. Beats Stakeholder's Appealed $5M Suit

Law360, New York (January 14, 2014, 6:26 PM EST) -- A New Jersey appeals court declined on Tuesday to revive a $5 million suit against Advance Realty Group LLC brought by a minority stakeholder seeking payment of the outstanding balance of its equity, after the court said their contract precluded legal action.

A two-judge panel on the Superior Court of New Jersey’s Appellate Division upheld a summary judgment granted to Advance in its dispute with Entin Development LP, which held a minority stake in Advance for approximately seven years, according to the decision.
