Kanye West Hits 'Coinye' Online Currency With Trademark Suit

Law360, New York (January 14, 2014, 6:00 PM EST) -- Hip hop artist Kanye West lodged an anticipated trademark infringement lawsuit against the operators of upstart digital currency "Coinye West" in New York federal court Tuesday, saying they illegally had used the fame of his name for publicity.
