FBI Nabs National Security Pro As General Counsel

Law360, New York (January 15, 2014, 5:00 PM EST) -- Former national security policy developer and former federal prosecutor for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Criminal Division's fraud section James A. Baker was named general counsel for the FBI, the bureau confirmed Wednesday.

Baker is taking the reigns from Andrew Weissmann, who was brought into the bureau in 2011 after serving as a Jenner & Block LLP white collar attorney and as director of the DOJ’s Enron Task Force.
