Texas High Court Takes $10M Carbon-Injection Royalty Fight

Law360, Dallas (January 15, 2014, 8:13 PM EST) -- The Texas Supreme Court said Wednesday that it would review property owners’ $10 million natural gas valuation dispute with Occidental Permian Ltd. in a case that contests whether oil and gas companies can subtract the cost of carbon dioxide injection from mineral royalties.
