NJ Mayor Loses Bid To Revive Ponzi Defamation Suit

Law360, New York (January 16, 2014, 5:09 PM EST) -- A New Jersey appeals court declined Thursday to revive a defamation suit filed by the mayor of Lakewood Township, N.J., after he failed to prove a Web publication had no truthful basis for connecting him to the perpetrator of a $200 million Ponzi scheme.
