Aecom Leads Pack In Running For $1.6B Miami Sewer Project

Law360, Miami (January 17, 2014, 7:32 PM EST) -- Aecom Technical Services Inc. is the front-runner for a contract with Miami-Dade County to oversee $1.6 billion in settlement-mandated sewer upgrades after an advisory committee on Thursday recommended the technical and management support services company for the job.

A five-person advisory committee appointed by Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez recommended Aecom for the program and construction services contract over contender CH2M Hill Inc., according to Aecom's attorney Miguel De Grandy of Holland & Knight LLP.
