Title Insurers Accused Of Price-Fixing In Pa.

Law360, New York (March 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Taking yet another swing at the title insurance industry, a group of plaintiffs has filed a lawsuit accusing a group of companies of conspiring to fix prices, this time in Pennsylvania.

The lawsuit, filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, accuses a slew of title insurance companies of unreasonably restraining interstate trade and commerce beginning at least as early as March 2004 by agreeing to fix the prices of title insurance throughout Pennsylvania.
