Genworth Pays $1.9M To Resolve Death Database Probe

Law360, New York (January 21, 2014, 3:49 PM EST) -- Genworth Life Insurance Co. and two affiliates will dole out $1.9 million and regularly search the U.S. Social Security Administration's Death Master File for deceased policyholders under a Tuesday settlement with California, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania and other states.
