Ex-DOT Secretary Ray LaHood Joins DLA Piper

Law360, New York (January 22, 2014, 5:23 PM EST) -- Former Illinois congressman and U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood will bring his 36 years of public service experience to DLA Piper as a senior policy adviser, the firm said Wednesday.

Joan DeBoer, who was LaHood's chief of staff during his time as the DOT secretary, will also be brought on as a policy adviser, the firm said. Both LaHood and DeBoer will work in the firm's Washington, D.C., and Chicago offices.
